Mac Mac Falls
A 65-metre twin waterfall, split into two streams by dynamite during the early gold mining era - one of the most photographed sites along the Panorama Route.
About Mac Mac Falls
Mac Mac Falls owes its distinctive twin appearance to nineteenth-century gold miners who used dynamite to divert the river in search of gold, splitting a single fall into two.
A viewing platform at the top of the gorge offers panoramic views of the 65-metre drop. Curio stalls are located next to the viewing area.
